Chassis number 294 registration number EL 7987 engine number 295 (now 772)  is a 9 foot 9 ½ inch chassis with twin SU sloping carburettors and a “B” series gear box. Now sporting Vanden Plas style touring coach work and finished in Racing Green with Green hide interior, the current owner has been custodian of this motor car for over twenty years and it is now reluctantly being offered for sale.

This car comes with a continuous and detailed history file having many original documents to substantiate the history of this fine motor car. From the records, one can follow the interesting history of this car’s life, notably the restoration period with many supporting photographs detailing the quality of the restoration works. The file also details the comprehensive engine rebuild in 1995 by Vintage Bentley specialist Neil Davis and the car has covered approximately 7500 miles since then.

Other Interesting points are the pinion housing currently fitted to this car carries the No. LM 1344 that was originally fitted to the Bentley team car “Old No 7” that won the 1927 Le mans and the original engine crank case 295 is available via  another client.
